I am a crazy SPN fan, for realz. For me it's the show that Has It ALL.

I mean, I have watched other shows. I have a lot of stuff on DVD. But guh, Supernatural. I really will not watch something unless I like it. Tho I am humoring my offspring for us to watch this new show, the 100. It is terrible though. :P

I guess to understand my CRAZY ZEAL for SPN you have to understand my history.

BORN: 1968
FAN: of Kolchak the Night Stalker, Kung Fu, and the Six Million Dollar Man. Those were my fandoms as a kid.
THE 80s -- introduced to Star Trek and Doctor Who. More of a Whovian than a Trekkie. BUT REALLY, a Vertigo comics reader: The Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, Sandman.
the 90s -- TWIN PEAKS!!! XFILES!!!!! BUFFY! and ALSO in comics and on TV: THE TICK!!!
and then in 2007: I got hooked on SPN after s1 and s2 were complete.

So you can see how it all comes together:

Kolchak + Kwai Chang Kane + John Constantine + the Black Lodge + Mulder and Scully + Buffy = SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS THE FAMILY BUSINESS.

Also, fast cars and rocknroll. I'm sure I will be in other fandoms. but this one, really it's all me rolled up in a big gooey fannishliss bonbon. :)
