This is the first time I've written Sarah Jane. I need to go back and rewatch a lot of her classic episodes, but I loved Sarah Jane Adventures and I just had to bring her in on this. The Doctor obviously loves her as one of his closest friends -- it's really too bad he never went back and got her. Sometimes he just seems to get swept along by events.
