fannishlissI went to Target today shopping for electric kettles. (They heat water much more efficiently than other methods.)
But of course I had to cruise through the Toy section.
I was looking at the impressive array of late sixties muscle cars in the matchbox section. There is currently a nice 69 Camaro that is black and red. I can't BELIEVE they haven't licensed our Impala!! tho the tiny Impala that came with the DVD at Best Buy is SO VERY CUTE nose to nose with my little Camaro. ...
Then I had to head over to the Barbie aisle to see if the Boys needed anything. There is a pretty nice looking blue-eyed Ken in a tux, that might pass for Castiel -- but I don't have a trenchcoat yet. The new Ken face looks way too much like Zac Efron! I prefer Dean face!
There is this awesome Barbie van and hot tub that Dean would really enjoy -- but only to visit. :) There's also an armoire that comes with a laptop. Plus, the laptop already has mapquest on it! I saw a nifty Barbie house that reminds me of a samndean hotel room. But I couldn't tell if it was current day or weechesters. There was a Barbie stove with a tiny saucepot and I was instantly thinking it was the pot for spaghettios! silly but fun...
This is what happens when the Barbie urge is suppressed in actual childhood -- it fights its way out later! I'm pleased to say that so far, the only new Barbie stuff I've purchased is my Dean and John's Couch. (The Couch is too awesome tho -- thanks, China!)
