Thanksgiving Story by my 8 year old

fannishlisshi -- my boy, a thirdgrader, has to write stories using his spelling words, so this is his story, which is not COMPLETELY unlike a supernatural fanfic. I thougth y'all might enjoy, as it brings more DRAMA than usual to the thanksgiving meal. :)
Thanksgiving Dinner
A man was in his kitchen cooking Thanksgiving dinner when a strange person came, and with great strength, tied him with awfully thick rope. No matter how hard he struggled he could not break free.
But he did not want to give up. He became very determined when he saw the spool of thread. It gave him a strange idea.
His fingers went back and forth and back and forth against the rope. Suddenly, he felt a strong twitch in the broken rope. With a fast scramble his legs carried him all the way back to his home when to his surprise, everyone screamed "SURPRISE!" and Thanksgiving dinner was ready, the table was set, and everything else was ready!
And everyone had a very good time, eating and laughing. And he even told the story of how he was kidnapped!
