I find it fun to listen to the rumor mill, but do not let myself get bothered over it. It is going to be whatever the Moff wants and that is certain. Moff loves to mess with the fan base and he is a master at it.
The fun thing about time travel is that you can have an almost infinite number of alternate realties all going on at the same time. More Nine would have been wonderful...
