Ooh, I read "Les Trois Mousquetaires (The Three Musketeers)" in the original French; I bought the book from a library sale. That was fun, and "Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince)."I still have them somewhere.
The Bible; as children, we used to have some fun arguments with missionaries about the translations they used from the original Hebrew. Most notably, the Hebrew word for a young woman seems to have morphed into "virgin." Hmm... Then there were the original commentators in both Hebrew and Aramaic! I think they gave up on us after awhile.
