fannishlissI'd love to hear your answers to any of these questions and I could elaborate on my answers if you want. :)
1 - Your current OTP: John/Sherlock; samndean (bromance); Doctor/Rose (any Doctor)
2 - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind: Mycroft/Lestrade bzuh?? oh wow, wait!! :)
3 - A pairing you have never liked and probably never will : Doctor/River :(
4 - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t : Doctor/Master :( (I do wish I liked it, i do!!!)
5 - Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what ...
6 - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom --- I've been with SPN since s3, and it's now s8. woohoo!
7 - Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it : tecnically, it was Kirk/Spock, but when I became aware of slash via email boards, it was Mulder/Krycek. sigh, it was an awesome pairing... :)
8 - Do you prefer characters from real action series or anime series : real

flambeau, and i was thinking how awesome it would be if Sherlock was Mulder (wanting to believe) and John was his wounded triple agent. :)15 - Choose a song at random, which OTP does it remind you of : songs always remind me of my current otp. :) Sometimes, it's whole albums. for example: the David Byrne album that was all Obi/Qui; the Breaking Benjamin album that was all Firefly; the Evanescence and Disturbed songs that were so, so Snape. :)
16 - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas): I actually think the moffat!verse only exists inside the crack in Amelia Pond's bedroom wall. please please please! what will the universe be like when the Doctor returns to actual reality -- what will he be like -- and where is Rose? :D
17 - A ship you’ve abandoned and why..... Dean/Cas : I still love them both, I'm just not shipping them right now.
18 - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships: there is no such thing. Name the pairing and someone ships it. :)
19 - Show us an example of your personal headcanon: Rose is immortal. If Jack is, then how is Rose not??? She totally is. :D
20 - Do you remember what your first fanwork was? a sonnet that Spock wrote to Kirk when I was about 12 I think. :D
21 - Self-rec: What's your favorite fanwork you've created? I'm almost never satisfied with my own songs, but I really like a song I wrote in SPN fandom called "song for Baby". Ask for a copy if you want and I'll try to get it to you. I also have Who songs. :)
22 - Are you one of those fans who can’t watch anything without shipping --- kind of. #*_*#
23 - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms : Okay, here are some characters I love: HP: Snape, I freaking love him. SPN: Lisa Braeden. (Also Jodi Mills for pretty much identical reasons. See also Ellen and Jo Harvelle! ) Nu Who: Nine. Christopher Eccleston was simply ideal as the Doctor. He rocked it so hard. Classic Who: K9. I love that little tin dog. Sherlock: besides John and Sherlock (and I love them both), I love Lestrade. He got Sherlock clean, recognized his genius, and gave him respect. Lestrade rules.
24 - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms : John/Sherlock, Jim/Blair, Snape/Harry (Snape is alive and well and running an apothecary in Spain!)
25 - A fandom you’re in but have no ships from : what is this Fandom with No Ships you speak of???
26 - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go: I just bought two pendants from an awesome person, digitalwave, and one is a triskele which makes me think of Gallifrey, and the other is Dean's Amulet which just makes me beam with joy :)

Lestrade! *purrs* Lestrade is amazing. All that you said, and then the way he balances the demands of his job, his superiors, Sherlock, and his own people, is quite the feat when you think about it. Plus sexy and snarky as all get-out.

Most likely true, but I'll tell you what, I get struck by what seems like a FAR higher than average number of pairings that there is no internet evidence of anyone else shipping. My sandbox is a strange and sometimes lonely place. :'(
Ha, this is kind of making me want to do the meme too, but I feel like I don't really have answers for a lot of them. Hmmmm. But thanks for sharing, this is kind of a cool way to get to know you a bit better :)

Date: 2012-09-07 02:16 pm (UTC)I love Simm!Master, I really do. I even see the chemistry there LOADS OF IT, between Simm and Ten. But it just strikes me more as an epic bromance. So much history, so much love and hate tangled together. If anything, I think of it as an unrequited Master loving the Doctor in ways that just are never gonna be returned. It explains so much .... so I do kind of get the Master/Doctor but only with qualifications.
