Well, apparently I joined Livejournal  and made my first post in November of 2007.
So it'll be fun to look back and see what I've come up with in just over a year!

Nov. 17, 2007:  my meta on my favorite Metallica songs and what Dean Winchester thinks of them.

Dec 14, 2007: my grouchy response when Dean couldn't sing Silent Night.

Jan 9, 2008:  short meta on Dean and Giftedness

Jan 10, 2008:  my first posted fic!!  a drabble:  Sam prays
(actually, it's a poem, but it is 100 words exactly)

Jan 18: ficlet (1300 words):  "Taking Care of Sammy"
Dean's pov during s3.  Brotherly love.

feb 11: my seven things meme that is actually seven interesting things about me

feb 13:  another Metallica meta

feb 13: my scholarly meta on Wincest and Romanticism  (so this is why I got a phd!)

feb 25:  my meta on Misogyny  (and this is what comes of my women's studies certificate!)

march 4: the fanfic my seven year old wrote!

mar 18: crack!poetry:  Thirteen Ways of Looking at Sam and Dean (with apologies to Wallace Stevens)

mar 19:  my soundtrack of the year:  Impala Rocks on!

July 16:  my favorite fic of the year:  "where soul meets body"
another post s3 hiatus story.  This time Sam unlocks his power in a dream.

July 18:  short meta on fanfic and women's intellectual freedom

July 23: pondering Emmys, Acting, and Ackles

sep 13:  meta on RPS  in which I try to explain my constant tinhat squee

sep 18:  my supernatural x Devour crossover fic!!  I am SO PROUD of this story.
Set during s3 hiatus. 4200 words.  "Keep your head down, hold your tongue, break free"

oct 21: my wincon report.  Now I have such a huge grin on my face!

Nov 10: my ginormous meta on Angels in Hebrew and Christian scripture

Nov 18:  ficlet : "Incestuous" -- a Ruby Character Study. 

nov 25: another fun ficlet by my 8 yr old

nov 29: my nightmare with bonus hellstorm

dec 18: my semi-bang, Dancers at the Lake, 12000 words!
I am pretty happy with this, if only people would read it!
It is highly theological in nature, and features Dean and Ruby.
It also has a Great Soundtrack!  Again, feel free to request the cd.
Originally conceived as a rewrite of the fairy tale, "The Twelve Dancing Princesses," which is one of my favorites.

SO THAT IS MY 2008 IN REVIEW.  A dozen cool metas on a variety of topics, plus NINE stories ranging from Drabble #1 to my 12000 words.  I'm pretty happy with this!

Hey you, I'm so glad you posted this wrap-up, because we weren't LJfriended til Wincon, so I hadn't read some of your most excellent metas. Can I just say, YES!
