Bad Company!
Feb. 2nd, 2009 10:28 pmOk, apparently no small part of my love for Supernatural is due to the music. I mean, I knew I liked the music all along. But what I'm beginning to find, is that the show can make me LOVE music I only kind of liked back in the day. So after several actual MONTHS of resistance, I went into my card catalog to find out in what format I had the Bad Company. Turned out it was CASSETTE. So, yeah, Sam, I kind of need to update my cassette collection, cause, dude! they're CASSETTES.
Still, it gave me a fun, geeky, fangirl feeling to drive around all day today rockin out in my little car to the Bad Company. On Cassette.
IMA READY FOR LOVE!! WHOA, BABY IMA READY FOR LOVE!
Oh, Dean Winchester, you sly dog, that best of album, 10 from 6, totally rocks, even all these years later, and regardless of remastering.
I dubbed it onto a cd successfully and am now playing Rock and Roll Fantasy on my laptop. So there Sam!!
Yeah, I also got out my Asia LP and dubbed Heat of the Moment, since there was so much space left... :)
[Eye of the Tiger was NEVER my favorite Survivor song -- I preferred High on You.... but NOW of course!!!]
