At 42 Days of Metallicar, alias_chick  was hoping someone would write a song. So I did.

It's a little bit pensive -- but in my head, it is Dean singing to Baby when no one is listening...  a kind of slow, bluesy, Skynyrd song, with a little Paul Rodgers at the end.

This is my first try at recording one of my songs with Garage Band--please forgive if it's a little wobbly. There's not even a visible mic on my iMac -- I'm just sitting there in my den, singing randomly at my computer (which you can hear, humming in the background like crickets).   I hope the download link works!  It does!

Ok, apparently no small part of my love for Supernatural is due to the music. I mean, I knew I liked the music all along. But what I'm beginning to find, is that the show can make me LOVE music I only kind of liked back in the day. So after several actual MONTHS of resistance, I went into my card catalog to find out in what format I had the Bad Company. Turned out it was CASSETTE. So, yeah, Sam, I kind of need to update my cassette collection, cause, dude! they're CASSETTES.

Still, it gave me a fun, geeky, fangirl feeling to drive around all day today rockin out in my little car to the Bad Company. On Cassette.

Oh, Dean Winchester, you sly dog, that best of album, 10 from 6, totally rocks, even all these years later, and regardless of remastering.

I dubbed it onto a cd successfully and am now playing Rock and Roll Fantasy on my laptop. So there Sam!!

Yeah, I also got out my Asia LP and dubbed Heat of the Moment, since there was so much space left... :)

So I went to this website called Last.fm, which very sweetly played La Cara a La Pared by Lhasa for me, but then wouldn't play Sad but True by Metallica!  and didn't have a profile for Metallica! so I spent a while and made one for them.   It's nice and facty.

I appended a personal review of a random favorite, Until it Sleeps.
