Steve and Bucky go places

In the first picture, Steve and Bucky went with us to the Japanese restaurant and were very suspicious of the pickled ginger and wasabi. To be fair, the condiments do seem like they might suddenly come alive as tentacle monsters. That sort of thing happens to Bucky and Steve all the time. I suspect that wasabi was largely unknown in 1930s Brooklyn. At the Japanese restaurant, the waitress recognized Steve! And I had to explain that yes, Bucky did try to kill Steve, but he is really Steve's best friend and he is getting better.
In the second pic, Steve and Bucky are astonished to find themselves in a holodeck standing in a snowbank!!! Actually they are at another restaurant with a green vinyl table covering, and the snowbank is a hot washcloth. :)

Date: 2014-11-15 06:57 pm (UTC)I like the monster-potential in the ginger and wasabi. I've never liked them (even after living in Japan for 4 years), and certainly from now on I shall eye them with suspicion. I also liked the holodeck that housed a snow bank.
All so real and life-like! Steve and Bucky are certainly headed for adventure. :)
