Chris Evans Adorbs.
Here is a thing that Mr. Evans did that made me pretty happy: He was presenting at the Oscars (I can't find footage of what he presented) and he took a best friend as his date!  :D  Her name is Tara Testa-Bidwell, she is a real estate agent in Boston, and they met when he was still doing community theatre as a kid! and it looks like they might have gone to prom together! Can't you imagine this scenario: she:  Chris Evans, if you ever wind up at the Oscars, you have to take me as your date! he: How do you know it won't be you taking me as your date?  she: gut feeling.  :)
She looked beautiful but real in her dress -- her bra strap was showing!  I wonder if she paid for the dress herself? I would, if I could at all afford to -- but she didn't hire a personal stylist I bet, or she would have been advised to wear all the crazy underwear that celebrities are taught how to wear to avoid bra straps showing.  That bra strap made me so happy, I swear.  And get this: Chris was in her wedding party in 2012.  He is too adorbs.  I hope she sets him up with a nice Boston girl (or one of his sisters sets him up).  Actor/Actor marriages undergo SO much strain.  My husband is a stage actor, and he is already booked through June for most nights during the week as well as weekends!-- I have to book him MONTHS in advance just for a date night.  Think how awful it would be if you both had that kind of schedule.  I wish only the best for folks like the Padaleckis, Ackleses, and Faris-Pratts who are double actor couples!
More Evans adorbs: here is a great reel of Chris being amusing in 2014, thanks to apophenia.  I like this reel because he seems relaxed and happy, and it has RDJ calling him a Dorito more than once; him looking very relaxed with old friend Scarlett; and being enthusiastic and carnal about how attractive Hemsworth and Renner are.  :D
By contrast, see how tense and tired he used to be, before he settled down and learned to love being Captain America.  I don't blame him one bit, I am super bad at being universally charming.  I am loud and opinionated and would put everyone on edge with my leftwing rants.  :P
Here is another bonus: a great excerpt from his film The Losers (2010) where Chris is the tech guy (named Jensen!) for a team of commandos.  In this clip he is very funny, and sings!  :D


Lent is going well.  Doing pretty well with my smaller portions regimen, remembering to pray at the various hours.  Got a great set of recs from a Muslim friend on parts of the Quran to start with.  :)   Led Compline last night and did a decent job I think.

Kink List: the first story, Age Play, is up.  "Call Me Baby." The age difference is all play acting.  Bucky/Steve, explicit.
I'm working on the second story now, Animal Play.  Bucky needs to be a kitten. :D

that clip is one of my favoritest parts of the losers. i love the way the women look at him when the elevator doors open. they appreciate the angle of the dangle. :D also, "they did stuff to me. spooky stuff. anal stuff." hee.

that clip is also my favorite part of the losers. Otherwise, the movie is a pretty fun action movie with guns and blowing things up, but that part is funnier than the rest in a way I like.

I wish Chris would get more opportunities to be funny. The Jensen character suited that aspect of his talents very well. I like to see him glower at injustice but not 100% of the time! :D

Yes, I am also curious about my Quran reading. I have to read 1st and 2d Samuel for next week.... so I'm hoping to fit in the Quran as well.

Thanks for that story about Chris Evans. Sometimes I don't want to hear more about celebrities because it ruins my ability to like them in the roles they play. I have difficulty ignoring Tom Cruise the person when watching his work, even when it is very well done. However, everything I see about Chris Evans makes me appreciate his acting more not less.

Also, Bucky kitten? YES!
