clarawincest : CHRISTMAS THEME YAAAAAAAY!!!^^
1) First kiss at Bobby's--------> MISTLETOE <--------
2) Sam baking Christmas stuff and Cas being curious and/or wants to help him
LAST) Declaration of Love in a gift exchange
1. On a snowy South Dakota Christmas morning, Sam came downstairs in an almost dangerously good mood -- dangerous, because you could never tell with good luck, being a Winchester, what horrible destiny would come along to try and knock you sideways. Bobby was relaxing at the table, doing a crossword, while Dean was blissfully flipping pancakes and the smell of bacon and coffee already filled the surprisingly cozy, cheerful house.
What topped it all for Sam was Castiel, standing oblivious right underneath the mistletoe hanging in the doorway to the kitchen.
Sam snuck up behind the Angel, grabbed him, and turned him around to place a kiss gently on his lips.
The playful kiss seemed to charge the air in a way Sam hadn't quite expected.
Castiel gazed up at him, an ocean of dazzled blue. "Bobby and Dean didn't greet me this way," Cas said, guardedly.
"Mistletoe, Cas," Sam said helplessly.
"Dork," Dean coughed, while Bobby studied his crossword intently.
"Bobby, are you a Druid?" Castiel asked, while Dean's shoulders shook.
2. "Dammit, Cas. No. Half the fun is waiting to take them out of the oven. Batches. You know!"
Sam stared down at four trays of perfectly uniform chocolate chip cookies, all baked evenly, just slightly warm.
"If cookies are good, then baking them all at once is better." Castiel's chin had that stubborn tilt to it.
"You have to wait for it, Cas. Waiting prolongs the pleasure."
Dean piped in. "Besides, the crispy edges around the outside where the temperature was just a little too hot..." Dean got lost in his contemplation and jammed three cookies into his mouth. Sam sighed, and tossed aside his mitts.
"Waiting is part of the pleasure," Cas repeated, and Sam got the impression Cas meant something more.
3. Dean was thrilled with new wool socks, a brand new flannel shirt, and boxers with little bottles of tabasco printed all over them.
Bobby was happy with his new cast iron griddle, an LED booklight, and a down throw for the couch.
No one knew what to get Castiel. He sat with perfect posture on one of the living room chairs, a pair of jeans, a Zeppelin t shirt, and a book of poetry in a neat pile to his left.
Sam, as usual, got a useful book on charms from Bobby and a porno mag from his perv brother, who seemed to be perpetually thirteen. Sam looked expectantly at Castiel, wondering what the Angel would give him. Dean and Bobby suddenly remembered something they had to attend to in the kitchen, but when Sam started after them, he felt Castiel grab his arm.
"I didn't get you something material, but I borrowed this from Bobby -- " Castiel brought out the mistletoe, dangling it a bit nervously in his hand.
"Good things come to those who wait?" Castiel asked, raising the misteltoe and looking at Sam expectantly.
"I guess, eventually, they do," Sam smiled, and it was the best Christmas ever.
