My shows are:
1. Doctor Who
2. Supernatural
3. Firefly

5. Twin Peaks

2. Who is your least favourite character in #1? Rassilon. Pompous jerk.
3. What’s your favourite episode of #4? Jose Chung’s From Outer Space. :D
4. What is your favourite season of #5?
Earlier is definitely better than later with Twin Peaks, for sure.
5. What’s your favourite ship in #3?
At the risk of sounding like a creepy perv, I’ll just admit, it’s Jayne/River. D:
6. Who is your anti-ship in #2? OMG, Johncest. Urgh!!!!!!
7. How long have you watched #1? new fan since this spring! Old fan since 1982. :)
8. How did you become interested in #3? DVDs!! the fan’s best friend!!
9. Who is your favorite character in #4? Scully. She rocks.
10. Which show do you prefer out of #1, #2, or #5? I rate them by different criteria. Out of the three, Doctor Who falls last. It’s more inconsistent as a show; individual eps can leave me cold or shouting at the screen in bumfuzzlement. But the characters are just great. I love the Doctor and his companions. I even love the Master now that I understand him, poor guy. Between Twin Peaks and Supernatural, I have to love Supernatural the most, because, dude, SIX FREAKING AMAZING SEASONS AND STILL GOING STRONG, whereas, Twin Peaks went wonky three quarters of the way into s1. Still, Twin Peaks paved the way for XFiles, and XFiles paved the way for Supernatural, so you can’t slap your granny in the face. Twin Peaks was an amazing, groundbreaking show that still rocks Television twenty years later. Supernatural, man, that show OWNS ME. It’s everything I love all crammed together in one crazy package -- including Ben Edlund!!!
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, #1 or #3? Well, considering there are only 14 eps of Firefly, it’s obviously Doctor Who. :P
12. If you could be anyone from #4, who would you be? SCULLY!!
13. How would you kill off your favourite character in #2? Dean has been killed off so many times. He even killed off HIMSELF just so he could CONFAB WITH DEATH. He’s got more lives than Jack Freakin Harkness. I bet he’d like to try Erotic Asphyxiation. It works for Mulder!!
14. Give a random quote from #1. “I want you safe, My Doctor, protected from the False God.” THUD.
15. Would a #3/#4 crossover work? Mulder and Scully would still be Agents, and they’d be trying to stop a rash of child thefts linked to the hybrid thing and the corrupt government guys still working for Blue Sun, and they’d enlist the Firefly crew post-Serenity. Mal would be really jealous of how well Mulder and Inara get along, and River would immediately bond with Scully. :)
16. Pair two characters in #1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple. you mean like Mickey and Martha??? I’m gonna go with Jack Harkness and River Song. They could be great for one another. I like when they go adventuring with matching Vortex Manipulators. And truthfully, though I don’t mind River as much as some people do, I find her pairing with the Doctor to be creepily incestuous. I mean isn’t she like a niece or a step-daughter to him? She’s in some ways the child of the Tardis. Ooogh. o_O
17. Overall, which show has a better cast, #3 or #5? Ooh, tough one. Twin Peaks is like the mother of amazing casts.... yet Firefly is the ultimate Whedon ensemble. I can’t choose!
18. Which has better theme music, #2 or #4? The XFiles had truly inspired music that made me hide under blankets every Friday for years, but Supernatural uses music that I listen to in daily life. I have spn playlists on my computers, I have season soundtracks in my car. Spn rocks!!

Date: 2011-08-18 08:05 pm (UTC)Johncest, hey? So is that two or more versions of John with each other, or Wincest with John being one of the Winchesters in question? My following of the SPN fandom is limited these days. I've lost track of its craziness. ;)
As for Doctor/River, well, fictional incest and similar relationships don't really squick me when it's aimed at adults in fanfiction or erotica, but I don't think it makes sense to insert it into Doctor Who canon. It'd be sort of like telling the children/teens of the world that it's okay for a vampire that's lived for over 100 years to stalk, screw and eventually kill a girl who's not even over the age of consent when he first becomes obsessed with her. Wait...

I'm usually fairly patient in terms of letting storylines play out before I judge... but unfortunately, with the River storyline, I'm already judgey. It's too bad, because I really don't mind a kickass [marysue] .... I like cheeky and kickass in women characters. idk. I guess we'll see if it is as squicky as I fear.
