MY SHRODINGER'S FIRST TIME THEORY OF SLASHINESS

My Shrödinger's First Time theory(tm)  goes like this:

GIVEN: Samndean's First Time is always going to be the perfect ep coda.

GIVEN: It's never going to take place on screen, but always right afterward, as the perfect ep coda.

THEREFORE: After every episode, the perfect ep coda takes place, but since it is a first time, whenever the next episode starts, the previous perfect coda didn't take place.*

SO IN CONCLUSION -- Sam and Dean have ALWAYS BEEN, yet are always JUST ABOUT TO BECOME, slashy love partners. QED.

PRE-STANFORD COROLLARY:  Anything that happened pre-Stanford, stays pre-Stanford.  Whether or not it happened, they can't  refer to it onscreen.

Now everyone can go forth and write the Perfect Ep Coda to this where the whole mention of Slash inspires Samndean to Figure Out what all those CRAZY FANGIRLS are thinking.

Doesn't parallel universe theory say that every time you have an uncertainty like that (Cat is both alive and dead at the same time) the universe actually splits in two where in one universe, the cat is dead and in the other universe the cat is alive?

So, really, Sam and Dean probably are going off and having sex at the end of each episode and Kripke keeps filming the one Universe where they don't.

Okay, all I really know about parallel universe theory I learned from that Nova documentary with that one guy from the Eels but still, I think it works.

There have been so many awesome aus where they actually play with this -- I'm bad at remembering names, but someone wrote that great Jess as a Hunter au, where the boys and she have this really strong threesome, and she falls out of that universe on a hunt? and ends up in canon land where she's dead and the boys aren't in love, and they're REALLY MESSED UP BECAUSE OF IT. I SO LOVED how they're messed up because they're NOT entangled in an incestuous threesome!! Yeah, I do think the ep was all about the writing, and how to some extent samndean are powerless with what people make them do....

tho did you catch that moment when Dean shows up and Chuck is like what? I didn't write this!! HMMMM.

so this story is set in pt and mona's transmutation verse, and hunter!Jess falls through into canonland. it totally rocks.

I originally read it through azephirin's recommendation when she had that massive PROMPT fest a while back.

i suck at posting to comms!!! glad I found it for you really. Plus, i went back and bookmarked that page of azephirin's because I bared my SOUL about all the fic I'd really want to see!! and then all sorts of people made all sorts of reccs. it was a cool thread.
